GSMKY 036: Kentucky Tennis Weekend 2024

It’s a special AUDIO-ONLY edition of GSMKY!  In January at the annual Kentucky Tennis Weekend in Louisville, Chris and Chad had the opportunity to interview representatives from various Community Tennis Associations from all around Kentucky to learn about their exciting program offerings for 2024.  We were also able to mix in some interviews with some USTA Kentucky representatives about their efforts to grow the game this year.  See the show notes for a list of our interviews.

Welcome to another episode of Game Set Match Kentucky! – The Central Kentucky Tennis Series Podcast.  On this 36th episode of GSMKY, Chris Godby (Chairman of the CKTS) and Chad Young (CKTS Board Member and Bowling Green tournament director) are back with a special audio-only podcast.

This was our first-ever remote podcast, recorded on January 27, 2024 at the Kentucky Tennis Weekend Community Development Workshop at the Hyatt Regency in Louisville, KY.  We recorded a lot of great interviews with CTA representatives and some USTA staff.  Below is a list of interviewees and the CTAs represented.  A big THANK YOU to all those who participated.  We definitely want to do this again.  Stay ’til the end for some bloopers!  Also, thank you for listening and subscribing!  Please give us a 5-star rating in your podcast app and write a short review!
